Black Friday & Thanksgiving - In No Particular Order

Yes, I missed "Black Friday". Getting up before the sun to stand in a line longer than the Great Wall of China in the freezing cold to talk to people who are really nice until they become evil when the doors open and everyone is out for themselves with claws out ... oh, yes ... I missed it so! I'm thankful for my parents who did it for me this year ... oh, yes. I saw the deals online and sent a wish list (*smile*).
I hope everyone had a marvelous Thanksgiving and was stuffed more than the turkey when it was all over. Most of all, I hope everyone remembered to thank God for all the blessings that He's granted to us! For prayers answered and selfish prayers declined. It's hard to accept "no" from God ... but, we must remember that He knows best for us!
I spent Thanksgiving shopping with friends ... as most of you have already heard about ... and eating chicken (hey, it's white meat, too).
I spent Black Friday at the Children's Home. I love going there! The kids are so sweet and I love to talk to them - what little I can - but, they help me learn! We do Bible stories, hair, origami, look at books, talk, take pictures, play games, eat snacks, and just "hang out". They are dear to my heart!
Hope you enjoy the rest of the year. 2007 is on a downward spiral and will be gone in no time.
